Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003191
A type of drill bit with two or more cone-shaped steel cutters that rotate on bearings as the bit body turns. These cones are fitted with teeth, either milled from the cone itself or made of tungsten carbide inserts, which break rock by crushing and chipping it.
