Scraper

A downhole tool designed to remove scale, paraffin, cement, or other debris from the inside surface of casing or tubing. It is run on wireline, coiled tubing, or drill pipe and has blades or brushes that scrape the wellbore walls as it is pulled through. Scrapers prepare the wellbore for subsequent operations like setting packers or running completion equipment.
