Casing scraper

A downhole tool with blades or brushes, run inside the casing string to remove drilling mud, cement sheath, scale, or other debris from the inner wall. This cleaning action prepares the casing for subsequent operations, such as running completion equipment or packers. Casing scrapers are typically run on drill pipe or tubing.
