Shale shaker

A vibrating screen mechanism that removes drill cuttings and other large solids from the drilling fluid returning from the wellbore. The drilling fluid flows over the vibrating screens, allowing the liquid to pass through while the solids are discharged. This is the primary solids control device on a drilling rig.
