Single-tank composite sample
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003427
A representative fluid sample collected from a storage tank that contains a mixture of production over a specific period. This sample is obtained by combining smaller, individual samples taken at different levels within the tank to account for stratification. It provides an average composition for the tank's contents, which is then analyzed to determine the quality and properties of the produced oil or condensate.
