Single-shot survey
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003426
A measurement taken at a single point in a wellbore to determine its inclination and azimuth. This survey uses a downhole instrument that records magnetic direction and gravity orientation at a specific depth. It provides discrete data points for mapping the well path, often used in less complex wells or as a check for multi-shot surveys.
