Water clarification

The process of removing suspended solids, colloidal particles, and dissolved impurities from water used in or produced from oil and gas operations. Methods include chemical treatment with flocculants and coagulants, followed by physical separation through settling tanks, centrifuges, or filtration units. The goal is to produce clear water suitable for reuse in drilling fluids, injection for pressure support, or discharge in compliance with environmental regulations.
