Upon administration, anti-EGFR/c-Met bispecific antibody MCLA-129 simultaneously targets and binds to the extracellular domains of both EGFR and c-Met expressed on cancer cells. This prevents the activation of both EGFR- and c-Met-mediated signaling pathways. The binding results in antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), thereby inhibiting tumor cell proliferation and survival. EGFR and c-Met, both upregulated or mutated in a variety of tumor cell types, play key roles in tumor cell proliferation.",
