Q-time
Term · Semiconductors · MLC-T-SEM-000275
The maximum allowable time a semiconductor wafer or lot can remain in a queue or between specific processing steps without degradation or adverse effects on device performance. Exceeding this time limit can lead to issues such as oxidation, contamination, or changes in material properties. Q-time limits are established for many sensitive steps, particularly those involving surface preparation or thin film deposition.
