Quad Flat No-lead
Term · Semiconductors · MLC-T-SEM-000276
A surface-mount semiconductor package that has no leads extending from its body, instead using exposed copper pads on the bottom for electrical connection to a printed circuit board. This leadless design results in a smaller footprint, improved thermal performance, and reduced inductance compared to packages with external leads. QFNs are widely used in portable electronics due to their compact size.
