Dyeing
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000115
A post-processing technique applied to 3D printed parts, particularly those made from porous polymers like nylon, to impart color. The printed object is submerged in a heated dye bath, allowing the colorants to penetrate the material's surface. This process can achieve uniform coloration throughout the part or create gradient effects.
