Elastomer
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000116
A polymer material characterized by its ability to undergo substantial elastic deformation and return to its original shape after the stress is removed. These materials possess high flexibility, resilience, and often a rubber-like texture. In 3D printing, elastomers are used to produce flexible parts such as gaskets, seals, and footwear components.
