Fused filament fabrication
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000146
A common additive manufacturing process where a thermoplastic filament is heated and extruded through a nozzle, then deposited layer by layer to construct a three-dimensional object. This technique is essentially identical to Fused Deposition Modeling, often used interchangeably, particularly in open-source 3D printing. It is a prevalent method for desktop 3D printers.
