Tip diameter

The internal diameter of the nozzle opening through which molten material is extruded in fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printers. This dimension directly influences the width of the extruded filament and the resolution of the printed part. Common tip diameters range from 0.2 mm to 0.8 mm.
