Stepper motor

Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000366

A type of DC electric motor that divides a full rotation into a number of equal steps, allowing for precise control of position and speed. These motors are commonly used in 3D printers to control the movement of the print head, build platform, and filament extrusion. They provide the accuracy required for layer-by-layer additive manufacturing.
