Aggregation chimera
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000336
An organism composed of cells originating from two or more distinct embryos that have been combined at an early developmental stage. These embryos are typically fused together before implantation, leading to a single individual with cells from multiple genetic sources. This experimental technique is used in developmental biology to study cell lineage and fate.
