Early life stage test
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003540
A toxicity test conducted on aquatic organisms during their most sensitive developmental stages, typically from fertilization through hatching and early juvenile growth. This type of test assesses the effects of chemical exposure on endpoints such as survival, growth, and development. It is a standard method for evaluating the chronic toxicity of substances to aquatic life.
