Aggregation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000335
The process where individual molecules or particles associate to form larger structures, often driven by intermolecular forces. This can lead to the formation of stable clusters, micelles, or precipitates, depending on the nature of the interacting species and the surrounding medium. Aggregation is a fundamental phenomenon in colloid science, polymer chemistry, and biochemistry.
