Homocoagulation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005354
The aggregation of dispersed particles of the same chemical composition or surface properties. This process occurs when attractive forces between identical particles overcome repulsive forces, leading to the formation of aggregates. It is a fundamental process in colloid science, influencing the stability and rheology of suspensions.
