Colloidally stable system

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002247

A dispersion of particles in a continuous medium where the particles resist aggregation or sedimentation over time. This stability arises from repulsive forces between particles, such as electrostatic or steric interactions, which overcome attractive forces. Such systems maintain a uniform distribution of dispersed phase for extended periods.
