Allograft

A tissue or organ transplant from one individual to another genetically dissimilar individual of the same species. This type of graft is distinct from an autograft, which is from the same individual, or a xenograft, which is from a different species. Allografts are frequently used in clinical settings for organ transplantation, such as kidney or heart transplants.
