Transplantation

The medical procedure involving the transfer of living cells, tissues, or organs from one part of an individual's body to another, or from one individual to another. This process aims to replace damaged or diseased biological material with healthy functional equivalents. Successful transplantation requires careful matching between donor and recipient to minimize immune rejection.
