Tumor-specific transplantation antigen
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012355
An antigen expressed exclusively by tumor cells and not by normal cells, capable of eliciting an immune response that leads to the rejection of the tumor in a transplanted setting. These antigens are highly specific to the tumor and are ideal targets for cancer immunotherapy. They are often products of oncogenic mutations.
