Alloantibody

An antibody produced by an individual that reacts with an antigen found in other individuals of the same species. These antibodies are formed in response to exposure to alloantigens, often through blood transfusions, organ transplantation, or pregnancy. They can cause adverse reactions such as transplant rejection or hemolytic disease.
