Altocumulus cloud

A mid-level cloud formation appearing as white or grey patches, sheets, or layers, often with a wavy or rounded appearance. These clouds are composed of water droplets, and sometimes ice crystals, and form at altitudes between 2,000 and 6,000 meters. They can indicate changing weather conditions, sometimes preceding a thunderstorm.
