Bismuthines
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001350
Organic compounds containing at least one bismuth-carbon bond, formally derived from bismuth hydride (BiH3) by replacing one or more hydrogen atoms with organic groups. These compounds are the bismuth analogues of amines, phosphines, and arsines. Primary bismuthines have one organic group, secondary have two, and tertiary bismuthines have three organic substituents attached to the bismuth atom.
