Phosphanes
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008771
A class of phosphorus hydrides and their organic derivatives, formally derived from phosphine (PH3) by replacing one or more hydrogen atoms with organic groups. These compounds contain at least one phosphorus-hydrogen bond or phosphorus-carbon bond. The simplest phosphane is phosphine itself, a highly toxic gas.
