Hydrazo compounds
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005452
Organic compounds containing the -NH-NH- functional group, where both nitrogen atoms are bonded to organic groups. They are formally derivatives of hydrazine where two hydrogen atoms, one from each nitrogen, are replaced by hydrocarbyl or aryl groups. An example is hydrazobenzene, where two phenyl groups are attached to the nitrogen atoms.
