Alkoxyamines

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000399

Organic compounds containing an -O-N- functional group, where an alkyl or aryl group is attached to the oxygen atom and two hydrogen atoms or organic groups are attached to the nitrogen. They are derivatives of hydroxylamines where the hydroxyl hydrogen is replaced by an alkyl group. Methoxyamine (CH3ONH2) is an example.
