Hydroxylamines
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005498
Organic compounds containing the -NH-OH functional group, where an organic group is attached to the nitrogen atom of a hydroxylamino group. The parent compound is hydroxylamine (NH2OH). They are commonly used as reducing agents and as reagents in organic synthesis, particularly for the preparation of oximes.
