Oxime O-ethers
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008399
Organic compounds derived from oximes where the hydrogen atom of the hydroxyl group is replaced by a hydrocarbyl group. They possess the general structure R1R2C=N-OR3, where R3 is an alkyl or aryl group. These compounds are often more stable than the parent oximes and find use as intermediates in organic synthesis.
