Sulfinylamines
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011559
Organic compounds containing the sulfinylamino functional group, -N=S=O, attached to an organic moiety. These compounds are characterized by a nitrogen atom double-bonded to a sulfur atom, which is also double-bonded to an oxygen atom. They are often used as reagents in organic synthesis, particularly for the preparation of other sulfur-nitrogen compounds.
