Arsanes
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000792
Saturated acyclic and cyclic arsenic hydrides with the general formula AsₙHₙ₊₂, or AsₙHₙ for monocycles. The parent compound is arsane, AsH₃, a highly toxic gas. The term is also used for derivatives where hydrogen atoms are substituted by other groups, such as in trimethylarsane, (CH₃)₃As.
