Capacitance
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001598
The ability of a system to store an electric charge, defined as the ratio of the charge stored on a conductor to the potential difference across it. It is a measure of how much charge can be accumulated for a given voltage. The SI unit of capacitance is the farad (F).
