Electric conductor

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003628

A material that allows electric charge to flow through it with relative ease when an electric field is applied. This property arises from the presence of mobile charge carriers, such as electrons or ions, within the material's structure. Metals are common examples, exhibiting high electrical conductivity, often measured in siemens per meter.
