Electric current density

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013058

A vector quantity that describes the amount of electric current flowing through a unit cross-sectional area perpendicular to the direction of flow. It represents the local flow of charge within a conductor or medium. In the International System of Units (SI), it is measured in amperes per square meter (A/m²).
