Faradaic current density
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004340
The electric current per unit area of an electrode surface that results from electron transfer reactions occurring at the interface. This current is directly related to the rate of electrochemical reactions, such as oxidation or reduction. It is typically expressed in amperes per square centimeter (A/cm^2).
