Farad
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004338
The SI unit of electrical capacitance, defined as one coulomb per volt (C/V). A capacitor has a capacitance of one farad if one coulomb of charge stored on it creates a potential difference of one volt across its terminals. This unit is named after Michael Faraday.
