Volt
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012605
The SI derived unit for electric potential, electric potential difference, and electromotive force. It represents the potential difference between two points of a conductor when a current of one ampere dissipates one watt of power between those points. One volt is equivalent to one joule per coulomb.
