Critical pressure
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002699
The pressure required to condense a gas at its critical temperature, above which no amount of pressure can liquefy the substance. It represents the highest pressure at which distinct liquid and gas phases can coexist. For carbon dioxide, the critical pressure is approximately 7.38 MPa.
