Critical solution point
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002700
The specific temperature and composition at which two partially miscible liquid phases become completely miscible, forming a single homogeneous phase. Above or below this temperature, depending on the system, the two liquids can mix in all proportions. This point is also known as the consolute point.
