Decision tree
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002906
A predictive model that uses a tree-like structure to represent decisions and their possible consequences, outcomes, or class labels. Each internal node represents a test on an attribute, each branch represents an outcome of the test, and each leaf node represents a class label or decision. In computational drug design, they are used for classification and regression tasks, such as predicting compound activity.
