Decision rule in conformity assessment
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002905
A documented rule that describes how measurement uncertainty is taken into account when stating conformity with specified requirements. It defines the criteria for accepting or rejecting a product or process based on measurement results and their associated uncertainties. This rule often incorporates guard bands to manage the risk of incorrect decisions.
