Designed multiple ligands
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003062
Chemical compounds engineered to interact with more than one molecular target simultaneously, often with the aim of achieving a synergistic therapeutic effect. This strategy is employed in drug discovery to address complex diseases that involve multiple biological pathways. These ligands can bind to different sites on the same protein or to entirely different proteins.
