Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013045

A device used in automated or mechanized analysis to deliver a predetermined volume or mass of a fluid, such as a reagent or sample. It transfers the liquid from a reservoir to a reaction vessel or another part of the analytical system with high precision and reproducibility. Automated titrators and flow injection analysis systems incorporate dispensers to control the addition of titrants and reagents.
