Drying agent

A substance used to remove water or moisture from another substance or from the surrounding environment. Drying agents, also known as desiccants, typically work by absorbing or adsorbing water molecules. Common examples include silica gel, calcium chloride, and molecular sieves, which are used in laboratories and industrial processes.
