Dynamic energy budget theory

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003488

A theoretical framework that describes the acquisition, allocation, and use of energy by individual organisms throughout their life cycle. It models how organisms grow, reproduce, and maintain themselves based on energy intake from food and environmental conditions. This theory provides a quantitative basis for understanding metabolic processes and life history strategies across different species.
