Electrochemical piezoelectric microgravimetry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003660
A technique that combines electrochemical measurements with the detection of mass changes at an electrode surface using a piezoelectric crystal. The resonant frequency of the crystal changes proportionally to the mass deposited or adsorbed onto its surface during an electrochemical process. This method provides real-time information on mass transport and surface reactions.
