Electrogravimetry

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003685

A quantitative analytical technique where an analyte is deposited as a solid onto an electrode by electrolysis, and the mass of the deposited material is then measured. The deposition occurs under controlled potential or controlled current conditions. This method is suitable for determining the concentration of metal ions in a solution.
