All-solid-state ion-selective electrode

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000439

An ion-selective electrode (ISE) that does not contain an internal liquid reference solution, instead relying entirely on solid-state components for its operation. The ion-selective membrane is directly deposited onto a solid electrical contact, simplifying construction and improving robustness. These electrodes are often miniaturized and used for in-situ measurements.
